Service activities to land transportation
The company is primarily engaged in rail transportation. It is involved in providing rail transportation of passengers and/or cargo by using railroad rolling stock. It is a railway company and public society owned by the Basque Government and established in 1982, which manages several train lines, tram lines and bus services inside the Basque Country in Spain. The company has a registered office located in Bilbao in Biscay, Spain. The company has three different brands to separate its different services: EuskoTren is used for train and bus services, EuskoTran for tram services, and EuskoKargo for cargo services. Euskotren bus lines in Biscay are integrated with the Bizkaibus service (owned by the Biscay diputation) and in Gipúzcoa is as well integrated with the Lurraldebus services (owned in this case by the Gipúzcoa's diputation).
