It is a Spain based company that treats waste and produces electricity. The company has its head office in Bilbao, Spain and was incorporated in 1993. It was established to develop and operate the MSW-fueled waste-to-energy plant. The plant was built to dispose of domestic garbage in the region of Bizkaia and to contribute to the power supply. The plant is capable of treating 225,000 t/year and allows 93 MW of electric power to be delivered in a first phase. The plant is framed inside the Integral Waste Management Plan of the Biscay Regional Council.
